Throttle Value: Process 3-4

The throttle valve is a device used to change the pressure of inlet through the management of fluid flow. In the chiller plant working cycle, it functions as an expansion valve to decrease the pressure of refrigerant that flows out of condenser and to bring the refrigerant back to its ready-to-evaporate state.
